Sending your child to school is an act of trust. On rare occasions, that trust is violated. And unfortunately, children with disabilities suffer disproportionate abuse from the adults charged with their care. Courts have recognized that all children have the right to attend public school free of excessive force or violation of their right to bodily integrity.
